Now based in Montreal, Luc Labelle is a well-known DJ of the Ottawa/Gatineau electronic music scene. Over the past few years, Luc has built himself a solid reputation in the local industry based on hard work and professionalism.

Since 2001, he has played multiple music styles from progressive and deep house to minimal, techno and tech house. It is goes for show that his taste for music surely has contributed to his success. In 2005, Luc secured his first residency at Sunrise after hours afther his first performance in the nation's capital. The “big room” experience definitively altered his style and certainly bought a little edge to it.

While learning how to please the dance floor at Sunrise, Luc was also playing in a small lounge called Trio Lounge and Bistro in Ottawa. The lounge environment gave him the flexibility to explore a softer side of the electronic music and actually take the time to see how people react to sounds.

Since he moved to Montreal in 2008, Luc has been working in collaboration with one of the most renowned DJ agency of the island. Trough GV management he was offered gigs in some of the best clubs in town such as Sky Club.

Over the past few years, Luc has played in many clubs of Montreal, Ottawa, Gatineau and Toronto. Now hosting Music Wise, a Radio weekly radio show , he keeps pushing the limits of the dance floor and he will go as far as the crowd will let him. He’s still very passionate about his art, contently smiling at the dance floor with the occasional “but shaking” that comes with a nice baseline.
